Overview of Princess Bride Pinball
Princess Bride Pinball is the 8th full game module released by Multimorphic for their P3 platform, following the 2023 release of Final Resistance and Weird Al’s Museum of Natural Hilarity before that.
Princess Bride Pinball is based on the 1987 cult classic film of the same name starring Cary Elwes, Robin Wright, Billy Crystal, Mandy Patinkin, Wallace Shawn, and others.
The game will be manufactured in three trim levels: a Standard Edition, a Limited Edition, and a Collectors Edition. The Standard and Limited Edition versions will be available as a stand-alone game-kit for those who already own a P3 platform. The Collectors Edition, however, will not be made available as a stand-alone kit and can only be purchased alongside the P3 platform. The Limited and Collector’s editions come standard with topper and custom artwork.
Princess Bride peaked at #45 on our Hype Index, which tracks the most hyped IPs that pinball fans want to see turned into a pinball machine. It’s a theme with a strong nostalgia factor fit as well. Someone who was aged 5-15 when the movie was first released is now in their 40s-50s, which is a prime pinball-buying demographic. Kineticist visitors have been particularly hyped for this title, scoring it a 92/100 on the hype scale, off of 28 ratings.
This represents the first game for Multimorphic's new lead programmer, Josh Kugler, as well as the first credited voice work for noted pinball hobbyist Lucas Pepke (Macho Pinball).
We confirmed this would be a P3 platform game last week when the official reveal date was first announced.
