Flower City Arcade opened in Rochester, NY with favorite video arcade games from the 80’s including an assortment of Donkey Kong cabinets, PacMan and Ms PacMan, and Centipede, plus bubble hockey, darts, skeeball, and a nice lineup of pinball including Adams Family, Haunted House, Taxi, and Hercules, plus a few electromechanical pins set up outdoors. Games are all set to free play for $12 per person. Flower City was an arcade games distributor from 1940 until 1981, and this iteration of the family business is being revamped by the family’s third generation of arcade enthusiasts, Greg Grillo, who opened the arcade at the age of 20 and has been restoring the machines and improving the arcade since 2018. 

Timeline Arcade is the place to step back in time with over 300+ video arcade games and pinball machines. The overall selection of pinball machines includes both old and new games. They have retro decor and also have a pool table. They do allow BYOB after 7 pm. Timeline Arcade is $10 per hour and $5 for each additional hour. They do have a $25 all-day pass. Children are welcome but must have a parent present in the facility. 

The Arcade Bar is a 21+ bar that has games, drinks, and dancing. It consists of three stories of pinball machines, shooters, fighters, skee ball, and more video arcade games. They have two full-service bars and a patio for dancing to the jukebox or live DJs. The Arcade Bar has the 70s and 80s vibe with their throwback decore. 

Tilt Pinball is a pinball arcade with a wide range of new and vintage machines along with video games, pool tables, air hockey, and other unique games. They have over 50 arcade and pinball machines and host pinball leagues and tournaments. Tilt Pinball also offers a full bar with craft beers and an outstanding menu of healthy, upscale bar food and shareable plates. This place will definitely be worth your time. 

Arcade Monsters in Melbourne is the newest and largest Arcade Monsters location, with over 13,000 square feet. It has a restaurant, bar, pinball, pool tables, rhythm games, retro classic video arcade games, and driving, shooting, and fighting games. All games are on Free Play with one low price per person. The kitchen includes slushies, craft drinks, beer, and wine. 

Anastasia Island's Arcade Museum in St. Augustine, FL, is a cute little family friendly retro 80’s arcade open on the weekends to play pinball, classic video and mechanical arcade games. Play Medieval Madness, Monster Bash, Space Invaders, Star Wars, Tron and many more all you want for one low price. Try a craft soda and rock the vinyl jukebox while learning about arcade machines and one-of-a-kind cabinets like Screw Loose, designed by Tim Skelly in 1983 for Gottlieb/Mylstar and never released – You won’t play one anywhere else!

The Pinball Room is South Dakota's largest pinball arcade. It is located inside Boss' Pizza and Chicken. The Pinball Room has over 15 machines, including Addams Family, Game of Thrones, Metalica, and Toy Story 4. They also offer regular tournaments and leagues. There are also monthly IFPA-sanctioned tournaments and seasonal leagues. It is a very kid, family-friendly place. Boss' Pizza and Chicken has a wide variety of pizzas and broasted chicken. They also have a small selection of beer. The Pinball Room is definitely a must for any pinball enthusiast, it does not disappoint. 

Pinballz Kingdom is a large arcade that features video arcade games and the top 25 best pinball machines. They also have VR, laser tag, bumper cars, and an escape room. Pinballz Kingdom also has multiple bars providing food and beverages with a full menu. Once you visit, you will see why Pinballz Arcade is ranked as one of the top things to do in Austin. 

The Basement Arcade Bar has classic '80s and '90s arcade video games, air hockey, plus pinball machines. The collection of 20 pinball machines does contain retro and current games. They do hold pinball tournaments and are family-friendly until 8 pm. Also, games are free to play with a $10 admission for adults and $5 for children. The Basement Arcade Bar offers a full bar, including cider, craft, domestic, and imports. They do not serve food but have snacks in a vending machine and are close to restaurants. 

The Riverside Game Lab is the perfect combination of both classic and modern arcades, pinball, and virtual reality under one roof. They have six Virtual Reality booths and an Immersive Virtual Reality room. For the pinball player, they have about 20 games and tournaments. They also have the following types of arcade games: classic, retro, fight, rhythm (including DDR), sports, racing, and shooting.  They also offer e-sports tournaments with casual and competitive gamers! The Riverside Game Lab has a full bar and a small food menu. The Riverside Game Lab has at least one of every gaming experience so you never have to look far for what you want to play!

Arcade Odyssey is a top-rated arcade experience with recognizable classics like PacMan and asteroids, modern titles like Mario Kart and Dance Dance Revolution, extremely rare games like Meltdown and Aarr Technologies’ Jet-Ball and unique imported Japanese arcade games. A whole row of Candy cabinets keep the games fresh and the back of the arcade is a Lan Center PC setup where regular gaming tournaments take place. Pinball machines here range from 90’s to the latest popular themes. Odyssey also serves craft beer, ciders, and imported beers, Japanese sodas and sakes. Everything at Odyssey but the bar runs on tokens.

YESTERcades is an entertainment venue that has classic arcade games with some modern gaming mixed in. They also have air hockey tables, pool tables, and skee ball. YESTERcade is unlimited play for 9.25 per hour or $25 per day. It is also a BYOB Thursday - Sunday. 

Ocelot Brewing Company is a small craft brewery specializing in IPAs, lagers, mixed fermentation, and barrel-aged beers. They do allow dogs and children. There is no food but they have food trucks on a regular basis. The best part is their massive pinball room and excellent pinball machine collection. The collection includes Mandalorian, Rush, Pirates of the Caribbean, and many more.

YESTERcades is a fun, family-friendly arcade. The games range from pinball, skee ball, video arcade games, air hockey, and pool. There is also a room for Nintendo, SNES, and Playstation. The decor includes many nostalgic movie posters. YESTERcades has unlimited play for only $9.25 per hour or $25 for a daily pass. 

Flippers Family Arcade is a family-friendly arcade that is suitable for all ages. They have classic and modern video games and a large variety of pinball machines. They have driving sports and air hockey games. The pinball collection includes a good mix of games. Their menu includes burgers, hot dogs, and appetizers. They also have domestic and imported beers, specialty drinks, and seltzers. 

Mission control is a barcade bringing the '80s back with style, video arcade games, and pinball machines. Their video game collection includes Pac-Man and Donkey Kong. For pinball machines, they have classic games, including Jurassic Park and Attack from Mars. Mission Control does have pinball tournaments. It is located on the 2nd floor of the McFadden Public Market and usually has a DJ playing awesome music. Children are allowed during the day but 21+ at 9 pm on Friday and Saturday nights. 

The Flipside has your favorite pinball and arcade games. They have video arcade games, skee ball, and air hockey. In addition, they have about 20+ pinball machines, including the Addams Family, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, South Park, and Taxi. The Flipside is family-friendly and has a full bar with 90 spirits, local and craft beers on tap, frozen drinks, and non-stop free snacks. They are currently closed on Wednesdays for private events. 

If you're looking for vintage arcade fun in Arizona, Tempe's Tilt Studio is a great place to visit. Located in the heart of Tempe, this amazing two-story facility boasts an impressive 40,000 square feet and more than 19 pinball machines alone! Beyond that, you can find vintage video games, as well as more modern arcade classics like Dance Dance Revolution. But what really sets Tilt Studio apart is its family friendly atmosphere — there's something for every generation here! Whether you're an old-school gamer or just a kid at heart tempted by the lure of arcade style basketball, air hockey and skee-ball, this vintage arcade will fill all your gaming needs. Madcap Brew Co. is a taproom that includes pinball machines, skee ball, pool tables, and a few other games. They are located in an old machine shop from the late 1940s, so they have a vintage yet modern industrial feel. They do not serve food, but sometimes there are food trucks, and they welcome outside food. Dogs are only allowed on the patio. Madcap Brew Co. has 15,000 square feet to have fun, play, and enjoy a great beer with friends and family. 

Cidercade Houston features over 275+ new and retro games. The variety of games includes classic, fighting, shooting, driving, sports, and pinball games. They have 15+ newer pinball games. Cidercade also has air hockey, ping pong tables, and skee ball. They offer unlimited play for $10. Of course, Cidercade offers a variety of hard ciders. They do not have food but often have food trucks. They are family-friendly during the day but 21+ after 8 pm. 

Level Up Arcade has over 90 video arcades and pinball games. In addition to pinball machines, they have group party games, drivers, shooters, golf, and more. They have 16 taps of microbrews, fresh cocktails, food, and a DJ every Friday and Saturday night. They are 21+ after 9 pm but family-friendly during the day. 

Birdfish Brewing Co. is a great brewery with 20+ pinball machines. The pinball collection covers a variety of newer games. For the brewery, it has indoor and outdoor space with lots of different beer and ciders available. They also have food trucks on site. 

Holy Frijoles is a pinball bar with Tex-Mex food, margaritas, and a great pinball collection. Holy Frijoles has an excellent and well-maintained pinball collection spanning multiple eras of games from classics like Alien Poker to modern titles like Stern's James Bond 007.

Cartridge Gaming in Lima, OH is a retro gaming store specializing in console gaming – until the owner got bit by the pinball bug. Now Cartridge gaming has more than 20 pinball machines (Dialed In Limited Edition, Firepower and Jurassic Park), three arcade classics (Galaga, Centipede and Ms.Pac Man) and two multi game machines. It happens to the best gaming stores.

There’s an arcade in the mall again! World 1-1 Games in Santa Maria’s Town Center Mall is a California Central Coast hometown video game and pop culture store with impossible-to-find collectibles and an extensive arcade. Redemption games are in the front, followed by a great mix of classic and modern arcade games and a fantastic pinball selection with a big range of new Sterns and rare Sega and Williams classics. The Coin Slot is an arcade bar with pinball machines, skee ball, and pool tables. They have about 10 newer pinball machines. They also rent our pinball machines by the day or month. They have a full bar with beer, ciders, and mixed drinks. The Coin Slot does not have food but has food trucks on a regular basis. They are 21+ after 9 pm. 

Jilly's Arcade is on the Boardwalk in Ocean City, New Jersey. It is open daily and year-round for family fun. They have over 100 retro and modern arcade games, including pinball machines, crane games, driving games, air hockey, pool tables, skee ball, and more. The pinball collection includes Stranger Things, Spiderman, Ghostbusters, The Munsters, and much more. They have something for kids of all ages. 

Have you ever had a crush on a grocery store? You might develop one at MOM's Organic Market in Abington, PA. Sure, it is a fresh fruit and veggie store with bulk goods and a sustainable clothing line. But behind a partition in their own little room you’ll find a paradise of silver balls, flippers, and blinking lights awaits you. There are also a couple of video game cabinets, and all games and these classic pins are 50 cents to play so bring your quarters. Do try the cooked edible insects like mealworms and crickets while you’re in the grocery store, won’t you?

GameCraft is an arcade bar with classic video arcade machines, pinball, and skeeball. They have local craft beers, ciders, and gamer-themed cocktails. They are 21+, Monday through Saturday, but Sunday is Family Day. The pinball collection is about 20 games, including Godzilla, Ghostbusters, Toy Story 4, and Stranger Things. GameCraft does not have a restaurant, but you may bring in outside food. They also hold bi-weekly pinball tournaments. 

Set in a church building built in 1890, The Playhouse is a trendy hangout in Rochester, NY right on the border of the Southwedge and Swillburg neighborhoods. The Playhouse has a full bar with craft cocktails, two floors full of vintage arcade games, and Swillburger, a modern take on American burger joints complete with vegan and gluten free options. Play classic arcade games like Pacman and Donkey Kong, newer games like Guitar Hero, plus skeeball, shuffleboard, and a whole room dedicated to pinball with modern favorites and a couple of 90’s classics. Swillburger is family friendly until 10pm.

Skip the beach and head to Waterland Arcade – a neighborhood arcade bar located in the beautiful Marina district of Des Moines, WA. Get a heady dose of nostalgia from classic arcade games like Q*Bert, PONG, and Galaga and a pinball collection that spans four decades, from Sea Witch to Godzilla. Have a beer at the bar with your feet in the sand and watch the kids play all the games they want for just $10. 

EinStein's Pub & Arcade features pinball, music, and sports. It is a great place to hang out with friends and family in a neighborhood bar style environment. They have a great selection of draft beers and food and goes 21+ after 9 pm each night. Besides pinball, EinStein's Pub and Arcade has air hockey, skee ball, bubble hockey, foosball, and DDR. The pinball collection is 15+ games ranging from the 1970s to current games, and they hold monthly tournaments. They also have a DJ Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights.

Upstate Pinball and Arcade museum is a fun retro arcade experience with a diverse collection of pinball machines and video arcade games. Pinball machines range from the 1970s to today's games and retro consoles and classic arcades from the golden age of the arcades (1977-1987). You also can read about the history of the many pieces they have in the museum. They are open Wednesday - Saturday. It is $10 for all-day admission, no quarters are needed. 

Arcade Monsters is an arcade, bar, and restaurant with an anime and classic game theme. The Oviedo location has over 150 games and an anime-themed bar. They have classic video arcade games, pinball machines, and rhythm games. They also have classic bites, Cuban food, craft beer, wine, natural slushies, and dry ice drinks. Arcade Monsters also holds tournaments and special events. All ages are welcomed at the Arcade Monsters arcade. 

Do you ever feel like a silver ball bouncing around in a pinball machine? You might be at Kickback Pinball Cafe in Pittsburgh, PA, where the decor really puts you in the game. Kickback is a colorful, quirky joint with two floors of classic and modern pinball machines serving homemade sandwiches, salads, a full espresso menu, and fresh rotating single-origin drip coffee. LeaderBoard Arcade Bar & Pizzeria in Orange Park near Jacksonville, FL took over an Applebee’s and kept the layout: a bar in the center surrounded by modern arcade games, including a great selection of Japanese games, Dance Dance Revolution and modern pinball machines. The pizza alone is worth the trip and the fried jalapenos do not disappoint either. Grab a beer, cocktail or Japanese soda and fill your game card. Time to get on the leaderboard. 

Wilmington Home Amusements in Wilmington, DE is a party game rental, but their two full showrooms also host open play hours for $10 per person. This rotating array of classic video arcade games includes racing games, fighting games, Guitar Hero, Dance Dance Revolution, and classics like Galaga and Centipede. Pinball players will love this collection from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. Wilmington also has foosball, air hockey, bubble hockey and pool. You can bring your own food and drinks whether you are there to play or to host an awesome arcade party.

City Museum is a one-of-a-kind destination in St. Louis, MO. Part museum, part entertainment venue, part interactive art installation, City Museum is a must-see for anyone visiting the area. The museum boasts a collection of 20+ pinball machines, most of which are EMs from the 1960s and 1970s. In addition to the pinball machines, City Museum also offers a variety of interactive exhibits and activities that are sure to keep the whole family entertained. If you're looking for an all-day activity with kids in St. Louis, City Museum is a great option. However, if you're only interested in playing pinball, there are better places for pinheads to visit in the city. Either way, though, City Museum is a unique destination that should not be missed.

Another Castle Arcade in Edmonds is any age all the time retro arcade. They specialize in retro and new video arcades and pinball machines. They have a large pinball collection, as well as DDR. They have a wide variety of beers and snacks. They have an IFPA pinball tournament on Saturdays and an amateur/kid pinball tournament on Sundays. 

Prince Arcades in Bolingbrook, Illinois is a great place to get your retro gaming fix. With 10 pinball machines and a ton of classic arcade games, it's perfect for anyone looking for a dose of nostalgia. The focus at Prince Arcades is solely on the games; there's no bar or restaurant here but it's in a plaza where they are plenty around. That said, it's one of the few places where you can get that full retro mall arcade experience, as it's located in an open-air shopping center. Best of all, games are on free play with a $15 admission fee. So if you're in the Chicago suburbs area and are looking for a great place to bring the family (or just want to relive your childhood), Prince Arcades is the perfect spot. And bonus you can play an Al's Garage Band Goes on a World Tour (Alvin G) which you don't see very often in public locations.

How do you like your grilled cheese? If you said with mango and avocado, you’ll love Sarbez in St. Augustine. This funky dive bar designs gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches or you can create your own masterpiece. Sarbez is a live music venue with a couple of rooms full of classic video arcade games plus air hockey, skeeball, pool, darts, and pinball games like Dr. No, Stranger Things and Guardians of the Galaxy. Sarbez is family friendly until 10pm and serves craft beer, ciders, sours, meads, wines, sodas, kombuchas and iced coffees. Outside seating is smoke and dog friendly. 

47 Hills Brewing Company in South San Francisco is a must-visit for anyone who loves beer and pinball. This unique brewery has a large collection of pinball machines, making it a perfect place to spend an afternoon with friends. The menu features a curated selection of pub food and pizzas, and the brews are sure to please even the most discerning beer drinker. 47 Hills is also family friendly and dog friendly, so you can bring the whole gang along for a fun day out. So whether you're a pinball enthusiast or just looking for a new place to enjoy a cold one, 47 Hills Brewing Company is definitely worth a visit.

There’s an old school arcade in Indy's mall! Boss Battle Games at Castleton Square Mall in Indianapolis, IN offers video arcade cabinets, pinball, console gaming and tabletop gaming in an arcade made to feel like a gaming convention. Pay one price at this retro arcade to play all day on Mortal Kombat, Gauntlet, and Tron, but you may have to drop a few quarters to play Godzilla or Deadpool pinball. Boss is all about the games, so no food or drinks available here. 

Yetee Station in Aurora, Illinois is the perfect place to enjoy some classic arcade games. Plus you get tell people you've been to Aurora Illinois! With 10 pinball machines on site, as well as a wide selection of retro video games and dance and rhythm games like Jubeat and Guitar Freaks, there's something for everyone to enjoy. And because all of the games are on free play with a $15 admission fee, you can come and go as you please throughout the day. Yetee Station is also a great place to bring the family and children, as the games are kept in pristine condition so you're almost guaranteed to have a good experience playing here. As one of the few independent theaters in New Orleans, LA, The Broad Theater attracts locals from Treme to Slidell. Pac Man Battle Royale, a Pong table, an entire section dedicated to Star Wars, including the new Star Wars Battle Pod, Space Invaders, and air hockey and foosball. Games take quarters and all ages are welcome until 10p.m. Dorky’s has an insane beer selection of about 300 crafts, imports and ciders, and an impressive menu complete with vegan dishes. Pinstack Plano, Texas is a great place for family fun. A location of the popular Texas arcade and bowling chain that also has spots in Austin, San Antonio, Allen and Irving, Pinstack Plano serves up plenty of entertainment for its patrons. With 4 pinball machines and lots of other classic games like air hockey, shuffleboard and foosball to choose from - plus bumper cars, laser tag and a ropes course - there’s something for everyone!
