Shorty’s is probably the only place in the world where it is acceptable to set a drink on a pinball table – the booth’s table, not the cabinet tables. Shorty’s serves a great hot dog and a full bar to anyone who’s over 21.

There’s an arcade in the mall again! World 1-1 Games in Santa Maria’s Town Center Mall is a California Central Coast hometown video game and pop culture store with impossible-to-find collectibles and an extensive arcade. Redemption games are in the front, followed by a great mix of classic and modern arcade games and a fantastic pinball selection with a big range of new Sterns and rare Sega and Williams classics. Don’t miss the Dance Dance Revolution SuperNova!

Cidercade Houston features over 275+ new and retro games. The variety of games includes classic, fighting, shooting, driving, sports, and pinball games. They have 15+ newer pinball games. Cidercade also has air hockey, ping pong tables, and skee ball. They offer unlimited play for $10. Of course, Cidercade offers a variety of hard ciders. They do not have food but often have food trucks. They are family-friendly during the day but 21+ after 8 pm. 

Level Up Arcade has over 90 video arcades and pinball games. In addition to pinball machines, they have group party games, drivers, shooters, golf, and more. They have 16 taps of microbrews, fresh cocktails, food, and a DJ every Friday and Saturday night. They are 21+ after 9 pm but family-friendly during the day. 

Caffetto Café in Minneapolis, Minnesota is the perfect place to get your caffeine fix and play some pinball. This retro arcade has a large collection of pinball machines, with 14 games to choose from. The Caffetto Café is also known for its cute, quirky decor and focus on displaying local art from the community. The pinball machines are located in the basement, so if you're looking for a challenge, head on down!

Sure, it is a fresh fruit and veggie store with bulk goods and a sustainable clothing line. But behind a partition in their own little room you’ll find a paradise of silver balls, flippers, and blinking lights awaits you. There are also a couple of video game cabinets, and all games and these classic pins are 50 cents to play so bring your quarters. Do try the cooked edible insects like mealworms and crickets while you’re in the grocery store, won’t you?

Set in a church building built in 1890, The Playhouse is a trendy hangout in Rochester, NY right on the border of the Southwedge and Swillburg neighborhoods. The Playhouse has a full bar with craft cocktails, two floors full of vintage arcade games, and Swillburger, a modern take on American burger joints complete with vegan and gluten free options. EinStein's Pub & Arcade features pinball, music, and sports. It is a great place to hang out with friends and family in a neighborhood bar style environment. They have a great selection of draft beers and food and goes 21+ after 9 pm each night. Besides pinball, EinStein's Pub and Arcade has air hockey, skee ball, bubble hockey, foosball, and DDR. The pinball collection is 15+ games ranging from the 1970s to current games, and they hold monthly tournaments. They also have a DJ Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights.

Upstate Pinball and Arcade museum is a fun retro arcade experience with a diverse collection of pinball machines and video arcade games. Pinball machines range from the 1970s to today's games and retro consoles and classic arcades from the golden age of the arcades (1977-1987). You also can read about the history of the many pieces they have in the museum. They are open Wednesday - Saturday. It is $10 for all-day admission, no quarters are needed. 

Arcade Monsters is an arcade, bar, and restaurant with an anime and classic game theme. The Oviedo location has over 150 games and an anime-themed bar. They have classic video arcade games, pinball machines, and rhythm games. They also have classic bites, Cuban food, craft beer, wine, natural slushies, and dry ice drinks. Arcade Monsters also holds tournaments and special events. All ages are welcomed at the Arcade Monsters arcade. 

If you’ve been itching to let your inner geek shine and enjoy some serious cidercade fun, Dallas is where you want to be! Cidercade Dallas is the original location of this Texas chain with multiple locations throughout the state. Alongside their craft cider made onsite and a selection of hard seltzers, you can challenge your friends and family at tons of retro and modern arcade games, plus 23 pinball machines. Food-wise, they don’t serve anything from the bar, but that doesn't mean you have to go hungry - you are welcome to bring your own snacks plus there are usually food trucks on site. Of course, cidercade isn’t complete without other entertainment: challenge someone in a game of skee ball, step mania x for DDR fans or shoot some hoops like an all-star on an arcade-style game. If you're over 21 years old, don't forget that cidercade is open after 8pm - perfect for late night players!

Barcade Brooklyn boasts an impressive lineup of 12 pinball machines, plus a collection of classic retro video games for visitors to enjoy. All of these come with a 21+ only rule, making Barcade an exciting adults-only destination. Beer enthusiasts will love Barcade's focus on craft brews as well as inventive cocktails. Jeremy's Downtown Arcade in Nampa Idaho is the place to be for pinball aficionados in Nampa. The arcade features an impressive collection of machines, boasting 13 unique pinball titles such as Capcom's Breakshot and Gottlieb's Surf 'N Safari and Gold Wings. That the games are on free play with only a small cover fee at the door makes Jeremy's Downtown Arcade an attractive destination for players in search of some arcade action. The joint also offers a range of classic and modern video arcade games, but unlike other venues one may find elsewhere it has no restaurant attached nor any form of bar - Jeremy's Downtown Arcade is all about the games, nothing else!

LeaderBoard Arcade Bar & Pizzeria in Orange Park near Jacksonville, FL took over an Applebee’s and kept the layout: a bar in the center surrounded by modern arcade games, including a great selection of Japanese games, Dance Dance Revolution and modern pinball machines. The pizza alone is worth the trip and the fried jalapenos do not disappoint either. Grab a beer, cocktail or Japanese soda and fill your game card. Time to get on the leaderboard. 

Wilmington Home Amusements in Wilmington, DE is a party game rental, but their two full showrooms also host open play hours for $10 per person. This rotating array of classic video arcade games includes racing games, fighting games, Guitar Hero, Dance Dance Revolution, and classics like Galaga and Centipede. Pinball players will love this collection from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. Wilmington also has foosball, air hockey, bubble hockey and pool. You can bring your own food and drinks whether you are there to play or to host an awesome arcade party.

Tik Tok’s Workshop in Bremerton, WA is a pinball arcade and steampunk bar where the owners are the local repair guys so these machines are always pristine. Tik Tok’s pinball lineup is a rotating collection with modern machines, but they also like to provide older pins that you may have never played and won’t find anywhere else. The owners work to grow the local pinball community by holding training events as well as walkthroughs of individual games and will even help familiarize you with the internal working of a pinball machine and give you basic troubleshooting pointers! Tik Tok’s is still a bar, so patrons must be 21 and up.

The Emporium is a small barcade chain with locations in Chicago, Oakland, Las Vegas and New Orleans. The San Francisco location is located in the Harding Theater, a historic old theater. The Emporium has 10 pinball machines on location plus arcade games, air hockey, shuffleboard, foosball, skee ball and more. You can bring your own food or have it delivered. The Emporium offers frequent DJ nights and a dedicated dance floor to get your dance on. This arcade and bar is 21+, so adults only at this arcade and bar.

Up Down Arcade Bar in Minneapolis, Minnesota is a must-visit spot for any arcade lover. They have a large collection of pinball machines on location with 12 games to play. Up Down also has other locations in Des Moines, Kansas City, Milwaukee, St. Louis, Nashville and Oklahoma City so if you're ever in the area, be sure to check them out! They have a large craft beer election with 60 beers on tap as well as arcade games, skee ball, console games and more to keep you entertained. If you get hungry, they make pizza on site. Just note that Up Down is a 21+ only establishment. So if you're looking for a fun night out with friends, Up Down Arcade Bar should definitely be at the top of your list!

Pay one price at this retro arcade to play all day on Mortal Kombat, Gauntlet, and Tron, but you may have to drop a few quarters to play Godzilla or Deadpool pinball. Boss is all about the games, so no food or drinks available here. 

Yetee Station in Aurora, Illinois is the perfect place to enjoy some classic arcade games. Plus you get tell people you've been to Aurora Illinois! With 10 pinball machines on site, as well as a wide selection of retro video games and dance and rhythm games like Jubeat and Guitar Freaks, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Barcade Philly in Fishtown Philadelphia, PA is a comfortable arcade bar featuring craft beer and cocktails alongside arcade classics like Frogger, Centipede and Galaga, plus a rotating collection of classic and modern pinball games. Misuta Chow’s in Buffalo, NY is a funky gastropub that will transport you across the globe to the bustling yokocho alleys of Tokyo City. On the main floor, Misuta Chow’s serves fried rice bowls, ramen noodles, dim sum, gua bao buns, and other Japanese street foods. Up the pink Hello Kitty stairs you’ll find plenty of video arcade games like Q*Bert, Galaga, Frogger and Tron, plus a nice modern pinball lineup. 16-Bit Bar + Arcade in Indianapolis, IN is a barcade for adult kids who want to have a few drinks and play for free on old arcade classics like Donkey Kong and Asteroid, or drop quarters into a few great pinball games like Deadpool, Tron Legacy, Star Wars, Spiderman and Guardians of the Galaxy. We gonna rock down to Electric Avenue – the newest retro spot in Olde Towne Slidell, LA. Just across Lake Pontchartrain from New Orleans, this small barcade has throwback arcade classics, plus pinball games like Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy and Star Wars with free play on Mondays. As one of the few independent theaters in New Orleans, LA, The Broad Theater attracts locals from Treme to Slidell. Dorky's Arcade in downtown Tacoma, WA is an arcade experience not to be missed, with nearly every arcade game you can imagine. Pac Man Battle Royale, a Pong table, an entire section dedicated to Star Wars, including the new Star Wars Battle Pod, Space Invaders, and air hockey and foosball. Games take quarters and all ages are welcome until 10p.m. Dorky’s has an insane beer selection of about 300 crafts, imports and ciders, and an impressive menu complete with vegan dishes. Great spot for a date, party or pinball tournament!
