Sky Rider / Hi-Flyer Rules

Hi-Flyer

Quickie Version:

UTAD until your bonus is maxxed, then spinner all day once that’s lit.

Go-to Flipper:

Balanced

Risk Index:

Very High

Skillshot(s):

Try to hit the two rollover “advance” buttons as many times as possible before the ball goes through the lit lane. Which lane is lit will toggle with switch hits.

Full Rules:

This is the 2-player version of Sky Rider. There are two basic scoring opportunities here, bonus and the spinner. Work the bonus first by going up top to repeatedly score the lit lane and the advance buttons until your base bonus is at its maximum value of 20K. At that point, check to see if you have scored all four of the drop targets; making the 1-2-3-4 drop targets lights the outlanes for Extra Ball, if enabled, and raises the spinner value from 100 to 1000. If you don’t have all four yet, shoot to get whichever ones you need. Once you’ve got the spinner lit, it’s spinner all day. Be careful once in spinner mode; that bumper directly behind the spinner can blast the ball back down the middle if hit at the wrong angle. Double bonus is on balls 3 and 5 only and cannot be earned on other balls (same as on Old Chicago).
