The Flipper pinball machine, produced by D. Gottlieb & Co. in October 1960, is historically significant as it was the company's first "add-a-ball" machine. This feature allowed players to earn additional balls during gameplay instead of replays, extending their playing time. The game was designed by Wayne Neyens, with artwork by Roy Parker.
